Who we are
Our website address is: http://belfastyoga.com
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When you subscribe to our newsletter(s) we collect your name and your email address so that we can correspond with you.
Your personal data will not only be stored in the website’s database but also in MailChimp, the application we use to send our newsletters and campaign.
2. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track visitors on this site.
In order to be compliant with the new regulation, Google included a data processing amendment.
The data we collect will be processed anonymously and “Data sharing” is disabled.
We don’t use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
We use MailChimp for our newsletter and campaigns.
MailChimp is one of the best marketing automation platform and is GDPR compliant. They have a campaign builder that makes it easy to create email templates.
In MailChimp we only store your email address and then provide your name. With your permission, we may send you emails about our studio, new classes, special events, workshops, and other updates.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
When you purchase a product on belfastyoga.com, your personal data are shared with well-known payment companies, PayPal if you pay via Credit Card.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
